she is a beautiful and special girl. She was born, bred and owned by my good friends Dave and Kathy Spencer. Kiva has been Kathy’s princess since her birth where she has never learned how to distrust people, therefore she trusts, gives and love’s unconditional with no understanding of the opposite. She began her life in reining training but the trainer said she had too big of a motor for it so they trained her as a rope horse, after a few years of that they decided to breed her. She made such a good mama that they decided to keep her more for contributing to the breeding program where she had several beautiful babies for Dave and Kathy. She is a wonderful mother and loved raising babies, she even helped raise babies that were not her own. Julia rides her but she does get a bit excited so she is not used in the lesson program at this time. She does participate in meditation and emotional healing. She is great for our program to teach people how to open their heart and learn to trust and love again. The night before I picked up Holly and Kiva I spoke with Kathy on the phone and she told me she was questioning letting her girls go because she loved them so much. She had a dream, and in this dream she was shown a vision of her horses helping people by taking away their hurt, pain, trauma, PTSD and depression. She saw me with the horses and many people sitting around us receiving loving healing. She also was told that this was always what Kiva was meant for and her name means circular structure that is used for spiritual ceremonies because that is her destiny. And Holly’s name is after a sacred plant that is used Ireland to bring peace, love and harmony to the home. Together they are meant to bring joy and love to those who need it. I feel that Kathy and Dave letting them come to the program was an unselfish and loving act of which we will always be grateful.
